Alumni EXCO 2015

PRESIDENT: NG AIK WEI MARCUS

NG AIK WEI MARCUS.png
Marcus graduated from Northland in 2005, and went on to study in Raffles Institution for 4 years. He then studied Nanotechnology & Materials Science at Nanyang Polytechnic, and is currently serving National Service.

A familiar face among alumni members and school teachers, Marcus has been volunteering with the Alumni ever since he graduated. He is also an active student leader and serves with various voluntary welfare organisations. Possessing vast leadership and event-organisation experience, he believes he's spending his time wisely by imparting his volunteering experience to the youths.

A self-professed perfectionist and geek (not nerd, he insists there's a difference), he spends his time infuriating others by correcting their grammar mistakes. He thoroughly enjoys an intellectual discussion over a good meal.

VICE-PRESIDENT: PHANG SI LING VIVIAN

Vivian graduated from the class of 2004 and completed her studies in CHIJ St Nicholas Girls’ School before studying Hospitality and Tourism Management in Temasek Polytechnic. She is a current student in National Institute of Education and will be a full-fledged teacher in July 2016.

She has been actively involved in performing arts since her times in Northland, and has dabbled in theatre and musical productions throughout her education. Her passion in the arts continues in organising nationwide arts-related events and being an audience to various art productions in Singapore.

She has been with the Alumni since 2005, and her role has shifted from being an organiser herself, to training younger alumni members with her event management skills acquired from work and school. It is her dream to welcome older ex-Northlanders back on board and achieve greater heights for the alumni.

VICE-PRESIDENT (YOUTH ALUMNI): LEE YUN TING

LEE YUN TING.pngYun Ting graduated in 2007 and progressed on to Anderson Secondary School and Victoria Junior College. She is currently pursuing a degree in Nanyang Technological University.

Still en route to discovering her passion, she seeks to shorten the seemingly never-ending journey of self-discovery by dabbling in activities from various fields. In junior college, she played the double bass, joined a community involvement programme to Nepal, and was part of the organising team for several inter-school events. In university, she competed in badminton and ultimate frisbee, and joined the Cultural Activities Club as a business manager.

She has an ineffable appreciation for the beautiful language that is English. She loves to read, and her favourite book is Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer.

GENERAL SECRETARY: TEO KAI EN

Joining the Alumni in 2009, Kai En takes delight in organising activities that provide opportunities for alumni members to explore new skills. She advocates taking up new challenges as it makes life more interesting and fruitful. Kai En really enjoys dancing and eating, and always scares people with her appetite!
