Attire & Appearance

ATTIRE & DECORUM

  • Students are to wear the prescribed school uniform and modification to the uniform is not allowed.
  • All students are to conform to the correct dress code of the school uniform;
  • within school premises,
  • when attending school activities out of school and
  • when representing the school for competitions.
  • Students are allowed to put on their CCA attire on CCA day.
  • The table below stipulates the dress code requirement of a Northlander from 2013.

Hair
  • should not touch the collar
  • minimal hair cream/gel
  • fringe must not touch the eyebrows
  • side burns must be short and thinned
  • colouring of hair is not allowed

PE Attire
  • PE t-shirt must be tucked except during physical activities
  • Students are allowed to put on their PE t-shirts on their PE days

  • only plain white socks are allowed
  • socks worn must not be below the ankles

  • only plain white shoes are allowed
NB: Students (P3-P6) are to put on the School Tie every Monday and expected to be in the proper PE Attire during all physical activities. Failure to do so will constitute as a disciplinary offence.

Tattoo

  • Students are not allowed to spot a tattoo on any part of their body. (Students with tattoos will be suspended from school. He/she will be told to remove the tattoo before being allowed back to school.)
